Surveyor II – Service Excellence Survey Services

About the role

The Surveyor II supports Service Excellence Survey Services by performing field tasks for survey projects. Working under the direction of the crew chief, project manager, or client representatives, the role ensures safe, accurate, and timely data collection on site.

Key responsibilities

• Assist colleagues in completing survey work while following safe work procedures.
• Conduct and document daily Job Safety Analyses and safety pre‑tower meetings.
• Follow OII, DOTD, or client‑specific requirements and manage assigned job tasks.
• Report unsafe conditions immediately to supervisors.
• Maintain and safeguard company equipment and tools.
• Provide training to fellow field personnel as needed.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by supervisors or project managers.

• Can work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities, weather, and equipment issues.
• Possesses a good sense of direction and can self‑navigate in the field.
