Senior Surveyor

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Surveyor to lead field activities for offshore survey projects in Luanda. The role ensures client requirements are met safely and efficiently while coordinating with crews, project managers and client representatives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist new and existing staff in following safe work procedures and conduct daily Job Safety Analyses.
• Coordinate and communicate with clients, crew members and project managers throughout the survey lifecycle.
• Manage offshore operations, including personnel, daily progress tracking and asset utilization.
• Execute specific job tasks as directed by clients or project managers and ensure compliance with company safety rules.
• Maintain and safeguard company equipment and train field personnel.

Required profile

• Strong team‑leadership, decision‑making and planning abilities.
• Ability to prioritize project tasks, adapt to changing conditions and work under pressure.
• Good sense of direction and capability to self‑navigate in offshore environments.
• Knowledge of safety inspection methods, accident prevention and health‑safety principles.
• Proficiency in basic field calculations and use of information‑technology systems required for job performance.
