Sales and Marketing Representative – Certification Services

About the role

The Sales and Marketing Representative will drive revenue growth for Bureau Veritas Certification Services by identifying new business opportunities, building strategic client relationships, and delivering tailored certification solutions. This position bridges sales and delivery, ensuring client expectations align with operational capabilities while maintaining profitability and service quality.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and research target markets, industries and customer segments that require certification services.
• Analyze market trends, regulatory changes and emerging certification demands to shape entry strategies for new verticals such as renewable energy, medical devices and automotive.
• Build and maintain a prospect database using a CRM system, conduct cold outreach and generate qualified leads.
• Develop sales proposals, pricing quotes and manage the sales pipeline to achieve qualified opportunity targets.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews with existing clients, identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities and serve as the primary point of contact.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to define realistic project scopes, align timelines with lab and auditor capacity and ensure compliance with ISO, FSSC and other standards.
• Monitor win/loss performance, forecast revenue and adjust strategies based on market feedback.

Required profile

• Proven B2B sales experience, preferably in certification, consulting or related professional services.
• Strong ability to build and nurture long‑term client relationships.
• Excellent analytical skills to interpret market data and regulatory developments.
• Results‑driven mindset with a focus on revenue generation and client satisfaction.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM systems for lead management and pipeline tracking.
• Knowledge of certification standards such as ISO, FSSC and related regulatory frameworks.
