Recruiter – Portuguese Speaker

About the role

SME Careers is looking for a Portuguese‑speaking recruiter to join its fully remote, performance‑based team. You will help expand the company’s global network of AI‑industry experts by sourcing and referring qualified professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively source skilled professionals across multiple industries, focusing on Portuguese‑speaking markets.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of candidates to ensure a continuous flow of qualified experts.
• Act as a long‑term talent partner, strengthening and expanding the professional community over time.
• Earn a referral fee for each expert you refer who is hired, with ongoing payments while they remain engaged.

Required profile

• Proven experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably across several sectors.
• Experience hiring in Angola or other Portuguese‑speaking countries in Africa or Europe.
• Native or bilingual proficiency in Portuguese.
• Strong English communication skills (minimum B2 level).
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and comfortable working independently.
