PTP Specialist - Accounts Payable

About the role

The PTP Specialist supports Procure-to-Pay operations by managing Accounts Payable activities and ensuring supplier invoices are processed efficiently from receipt through payment preparation. The role helps maintain strong vendor relationships, ensures compliance with company policies and supports continuous process improvement within the finance function. It is a full-time position reporting to the Finance Manager / PTP Lead.

Key responsibilities

• Process and validate supplier invoices accurately and on time, checking compliance with internal controls and accounting standards, and ensure proper coding and posting.
• Prepare payment runs and monitor AP transactions, resolving discrepancies.
• Serve as the main contact for vendor invoice queries, investigate payment and invoice disputes, and keep vendor master data accurate.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, support internal and external audits, comply with local accounting regulations and help maintain internal controls.
• Generate AP reports, analyse payment trends, monitor aged payables and support management with financial data.
• Identify recurring issues, recommend improvements and support automation and efficiency initiatives.
• Share knowledge with junior team members and assist in training and onboarding.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 2 years of Accounts Payable or Procure-to-Pay experience.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle; multinational or shared services experience preferred.
• Professional proficiency in English and Portuguese.
