Production Manager – White Goods or Steel CRC Line (Angola)

About the role

We are expanding our manufacturing footprint in Angola and are looking for two senior Production Managers – one to lead our White Goods assembly plant in Luanda and another to oversee the CRC steel processing line across the country. Both positions are full‑time, permanent and require hands‑on leadership of production teams.

Key responsibilities

• Run day‑to‑day production, meet output and delivery targets, and manage shift schedules.
• Coordinate material flow, inventory and production orders using ERP/MRP or ERP/MES systems.
• Conduct in‑line quality checks, final inspections and ensure compliance with ISO 9001/IEC standards.
• Lead, train and develop operators/technicians while driving safety and continuous‑improvement initiatives (5S, Kaizen, SMED).
• Track and report key performance indicators such as OEE, yield, downtime, scrap and on‑time delivery.
• For the CRC line, manage raw‑material sourcing, inventory control and produce performance and market intelligence reports.

Required profile

• Degree or HND in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Metallurgical or Materials).
• 5+ years (White Goods) or 7‑10 years (steel processing) of production supervision/management experience.
• Strong knowledge of assembly‑line operations, CRC/HRC/galvanized processes and relevant standards (ASTM, EN, JIS).
• Fluent English; Mandarin preferred; Portuguese training provided.
