Pharmacist & Store In‑Charge Manager

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, efficient and trustworthy pharmacist to lead the store operations for a leading multinational in Angola. The role combines pharmacy expertise with full responsibility for daily store management, sales, inventory and customer relations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee store opening and closing, ensuring staff attendance, system readiness, billing software and power backup are in place.
• Manage wholesale counter sales, converting walk‑in enquiries into confirmed orders and meeting sales targets.
• Implement approved offers and schemes, preventing unauthorized discounts.
• Control the end‑to‑end order cycle from generation to dispatch, coordinating counter, store and dispatch teams.
• Supervise billing accuracy, cashier activities, daily cash closing and reconciliation.
• Monitor credit limits, follow up on outstanding payments and coordinate with head‑office accounts.
• Maintain batch‑wise and expiry‑wise inventory records, enforce FEFO, and support stock counts and audits.
• Ensure professional merchandising, proper rack labeling and optimal product placement.
• Hire, train and manage counter, billing, helper and market staff, allocating daily responsibilities and targets.
• Handle store maintenance, asset protection, hygiene, pest control and licensing compliance.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic, efficient and trustworthy professional with experience in pharmacy store management.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of counter, billing and support staff.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance with licensing and inspection requirements.
