Operations Manager – Angola

About the role

We are looking for an Operations Manager to lead our business activities in Angola. The role ensures efficient operation of rental units and services, compliance with legislation, and the health, safety and welfare of all staff.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and oversee all operational activities to meet business commitments and the Annual Operating Plan.
• Ensure health and safety duty of care, conduct risk assessments and approve processes, systems and equipment.
• Prepare and manage the annual operations budget, controlling operating costs across all locations.
• Monitor and achieve delivery, quality, cost, productivity and KPI targets, maintaining a closed‑loop performance management process.
• Plan and track day‑to‑day performance, ensuring real‑time control of output and quality.
• Develop training accreditation and maintain a multi‑skilled workforce.
• Coordinate with sales, technical and support functions for new product introductions, changes and trials.
• Maintain operating discipline and procedural conformance to ISO, LEEA and other standards.
• Create and review quality procedures to sustain ISO and OHSAS accreditation.
• Manage absence, disciplinary and HR issues in line with company policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing operations within a multi‑site environment.
• Strong understanding of health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Ability to prepare budgets and control costs.
• Excellent analytical skills with a focus on KPI and performance management.
• Effective communication and leadership skills to manage cross‑functional teams.
