Network Supervisor – Lead Team & Infrastructure

About the role

VINCI Energies is looking for a proactive, safety‑focused Network Supervisor to oversee the planning, deployment, operation, and maintenance of network infrastructure across multiple projects and sites. You will lead a small technical team, coordinate with project stakeholders, and ensure compliance with company and industry standards while driving continuous improvement in network availability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and schedule network technicians and contractors, monitoring performance and supporting skill development.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operation, monitoring and maintenance of LAN, WAN, wireless and data‑centre networks to meet availability targets.
• Supervise installation, configuration and commissioning of switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points, cabling and other network appliances.
• Lead fault diagnosis, incident response and root‑cause analysis to minimise downtime.
• Manage change and configuration processes, ensuring proper documentation, approvals and back‑out plans.
• Implement network security best practices, access controls and patching to meet compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, HSSE, telecom teams, vendors and clients to align network activities with schedules.
• Maintain asset registers, spare‑parts inventory and support procurement for reliable operations.
• Produce operational reports, track KPIs and recommend improvements to design, monitoring and maintenance practices.

Required profile

• Diploma or technical certificate in networking, IT, telecommunications or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience supervising network installation, operation and maintenance in industrial, commercial or project environments.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to work within multidisciplinary project teams.
