Medical Representative – Market (Angola)

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, efficient and trustworthy Medical Representative to drive market growth for our pharmaceutical portfolio in Angola. You will be responsible for promoting our brands, generating order‑based sales, and ensuring comprehensive coverage of sub‑distributors, dealers, retail pharmacies and small clinics.

Key responsibilities

• Visit and develop relationships with sub‑distributors, dealers, retail pharmacies and small clinics to secure regular market presence.
• Identify coverage gaps and implement corrective actions to achieve full territory coverage.
• Promote company brands and product range according to approved positioning and educate customers on product usage.
• Generate order‑based sales, increase bill value per customer, and cross‑sell additional products.
• Coordinate with depot teams for stock availability, pricing, and dispatch schedules to ensure smooth order execution.
• Accompany distribution trucks when required to strengthen client relationships and verify proper documentation.
• Maintain strong customer relationships, handling order queries, delivery coordination and service issues.
• Gather market intelligence on competitor products, pricing trends and demand patterns.
• Manage and coach junior local field staff, allocating routes and monitoring performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in pharmaceutical or medical product sales.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to work independently in a field‑based environment.
