Legal Assistant (Remote, US/UK Law)

About the role

We are looking for a meticulous Remote Legal Assistant to support our legal team with administrative and substantive tasks across US and UK jurisdictions. The role involves drafting documents, managing case files, and conducting legal research while ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, format, and proofread legal documents such as motions, contracts, pleadings, and correspondence.
• Organize and maintain physical and electronic case files, ensuring proper archiving.
• Conduct legal research using LexisNexis, Westlaw, or PACER.
• Act as liaison between attorneys, clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Manage legal calendars, scheduling depositions, hearings, and meetings.
• File documents with court systems and government agencies in compliance with legal standards.
• Handle telephone calls, email correspondence, and billing tasks.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience as a legal assistant, paralegal, or secretary in US or UK law.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law or a Paralegal Certification.
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to handle confidential information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Legal management software.
