ICSS Specialist – Offshore Project (Angola)

About the role

Saipem is seeking an ICSS Specialist to join the FPSO Kaombo North offshore project in Angola. The role focuses on safe commissioning, start‑up and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems while ensuring compliance with HSE standards and cyber‑security requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead commissioning and start‑up activities for control systems, executing tests and inspections in line with project documentation.
• Ensure all work complies with HSE rules, PTW procedures and hazard control measures.
• Plan, coordinate and execute preventive and corrective maintenance operations, including spare‑part logistics.
• Log test results, prepare maintenance reports and participate in site coordination meetings.
• Act as Cyber Security Officer (CySO) for maritime IMO instruments where applicable.
• Supervise and support technicians and contractors, closing competency gaps.

Required profile

• Proven experience in offshore instrumentation and control system commissioning and maintenance.
• Strong understanding of HSE regulations, PTW systems and hazard identification.
• Leadership attitude with the ability to promote safety culture.
• Capability to coordinate multi‑disciplinary teams and manage logistics.
