Finance Manager – Angola

About the role

ForAfrika is seeking a detail‑oriented Finance Manager to lead finance and compliance operations for its Angola Country Office. The role ensures that all financial transactions are accurate, allowable, reasonable and compliant with organisational policies, donor regulations, GAAP and Angolan law.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership and clear direction to the finance team, ensuring alignment with ForAfrika’s mission.
• Develop and manage the annual budget, monitor cash‑flow and oversee resource mobilisation.
• Support project staff in preparing budgets and donor proposals, advising on financial implications.
• Conduct monthly finance and grant review meetings with project teams.
• Ensure budgeting, monitoring and control of project and administrative expenditures.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and BVA (Budget vs Actual) reconciliations.
• Oversee statutory compliance, audits and financial reporting.
