Field Technical Analyst – Early Careers

About the role

As a Field Technical Analyst you will provide technical expertise to site teams, applying your geological knowledge to practical challenges on‑site. You will create formation evaluation logs, analyse cuttings to identify rock types and hydrocarbons, and monitor well parameters while maintaining sensors. Extensive training will be provided to expand your technical knowledge and hands‑on skills.

Key responsibilities

• Provide pre‑ and post‑job support, including risk analysis, to field colleagues.
• Assist in planning, preparing, executing and debriefing jobs.
• Prepare wellsite reports and document findings.
• Understand rig components and the role of different SLB product lines.
• Continuously identify and implement best practices in your work.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Geological Applied Sciences, Earth Sciences or Applied Sciences.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Logical thinking with strong attention to detail.
• Commitment to continual development and improvement.
