Field Sales Executive – Transport & Logistics

About the role

The Field Sales Executive will act as the commercial front‑line for DP World Freight Forwarding Angola, driving revenue growth and expanding the customer base within the transport, logistics and freight‑forwarding sectors. You will manage the complete sales cycle, from prospecting and quotation through negotiation, onboarding and ongoing account development.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities in transport and logistics.
• Achieve agreed sales, revenue and profitability targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, acting as the primary commercial contact.
• Conduct regular customer visits to understand needs and uncover upselling or cross‑selling opportunities.
• Prepare, present and follow up on quotations, proposals and rate agreements.
• Negotiate commercial terms and service agreements ensuring competitive and profitable pricing.
• Manage the sales process from lead generation to contract award and implementation.
• Provide market intelligence, competitive analysis and customer insights to support strategic decisions.
• Support contract administration, onboarding documentation and monitor account performance against commitments.

Required profile

• Proven experience in B2B sales within transport, logistics or freight‑forwarding.
• Demonstrated ability to manage the full sales cycle and close profitable contracts.
• Strong customer relationship management and negotiation skills.
• Capacity to work closely with internal operational teams to deliver tailored service solutions.
• Results‑oriented mindset with a focus on revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
