English & Portuguese Language Instructor – Luanda

About the role

Poliglota is seeking an English and Portuguese Language Instructor to join its team in Luanda, Angola. The role involves delivering high‑quality bilingual language lessons to a diverse learner base, both in classroom settings and through tailored instructional activities.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging English and Portuguese lessons aligned with curriculum standards.
• Create structured lesson plans and adapt teaching methods to meet varied learner needs.
• Promote language proficiency, comprehension, and cultural awareness.
• Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional materials.

Required profile

• Proven experience teaching both English and Portuguese.
• Strong background in lesson planning and curriculum development.
• Educational background in Education, Linguistics, Literature or related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt to diverse learning styles.
• Previous teaching experience in Angola or familiarity with the local context is a plus.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
