English and Portuguese Language Instructor

About the role

Poliglota is seeking a qualified English and Portuguese Language Instructor to join its on‑site team in Luanda Province, Angola. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality language lessons to a diverse group of learners, while creating structured and culturally relevant lesson plans.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging English and Portuguese lessons.
• Develop structured lesson plans aligned with learners' needs.
• Adapt teaching methods to accommodate varied learning styles.
• Promote language proficiency and comprehension.
• Integrate relevant cultural elements into instruction.

Required profile

• Proven experience teaching both English and Portuguese.
• Strong skills in lesson planning and curriculum development.
• Background in education, literature, or related fields.
• Excellent communication abilities and adaptability.
• Previous teaching experience; familiarity with the Angolan context is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Linguistics, or a related discipline is highly desirable.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
