Early Careers Geologist – Join the Geoscience Team

About the role

SLB is seeking an early‑career Geologist to join its Geoscience and Petrotechnical teams. You will combine earth‑science knowledge with modern logging technologies to assess reservoir architecture and hydrocarbon potential, supporting clients with innovative subsurface solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Work as a key member of the geoscience team to evaluate prospects.
• Prepare surface and subsurface maps that depict stratigraphic arrangements.
• Generate structural models, including seismic interpretation, geological interpretation, rock‑property analysis, mapping, and structural framework creation with time‑ and depth‑conversion.
• Perform facies modelling to support reservoir characterization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD degree in Geology.
• Strong spoken and written communication skills, with the ability to present factual information clearly.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally and adapt to various working conditions and locations.

Required skills

• Solid understanding of earth sciences.
• Knowledge of the latest logging technologies.
• Proficiency with geological modeling software and related data‑analysis tools.
