Demand Planner – Industry & Distribution

About the role

We are seeking a senior Demand Planner to join our Group Supply Chain function in Angola. The role supports either industrial manufacturing planning or distribution & commercial demand planning, providing accurate forecasts that drive inventory optimisation, production efficiency and commercial responsiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Develop statistical demand forecasts and analyse historical sales and operational data.
• Build dashboards, KPI reports and provide actionable insights for business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, production, procurement and data‑analytics teams and participate in S&OP processes.
• Support production planning, manufacturing capacity coordination or distribution planning, depending on the assigned business area.
• Continuously improve forecasting accuracy, standardise planning processes and identify automation opportunities.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with proven experience in demand planning or supply‑chain forecasting.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work cross‑functionally with commercial and operational teams.
• Experience in both manufacturing and distribution environments is a plus.

Required skills

• Statistical forecasting techniques.
• Data analysis and reporting (dashboards, KPI tracking).
• Understanding of S&OP processes and inventory optimisation.
