Construction Methods Engineer

About the role

This 12‑month position supports the planning, engineering and execution of construction projects in Luanda, Angola. The Construction Methods Engineer will develop and optimise construction methodologies, ensuring efficiency, quality and safety across project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver construction methodologies tailored to project requirements, site conditions, materials and schedules.
• Implement and optimise construction methods, standards, best practices and technical know‑how to support efficient execution.
• Identify and resolve construction challenges using constructability principles and problem‑solving techniques.
• Provide technical expertise on construction techniques to project and site teams.
• Maintain clear records of methods, changes, outcomes and lessons learned.
• Contribute to department improvement initiatives through analysis, workshops and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Construction Management or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with construction techniques, materials and HSSE regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficiency with construction management software and related tools.
