Cisco Channel Account Executive

About the role

The Cisco Channel Account Executive will support the development, management, and growth of Cisco channel partners across Managed Service Provider (MSP), Telecommunications (Telco), Banking, Financial Services & Insurance (BFSI), and Public Sector segments in Angola and Mauritius. The role works closely with partner sales teams, Cisco account managers, distributors, and internal stakeholders to build pipeline, drive revenue, and strengthen partner engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day relationships with assigned Cisco channel partners and conduct regular business reviews.
• Develop and execute partner business plans, identify growth opportunities, and support onboarding of new partners.
• Generate revenue through partner‑led and partner‑assisted sales, qualify new customer opportunities, and maintain pipeline for networking, security, collaboration, data‑center, cloud and software solutions.
• Assist partners with deal registration, quoting, pricing, and opportunity tracking while collaborating with Cisco sales teams on campaigns.
• Deliver partner enablement activities such as training sessions, webinars, product briefings, and technical workshops; promote Cisco programs, incentives, certifications and ensure compliance with the Partner Program.
• Support joint go‑to‑market campaigns, events, webinars and co‑selling initiatives with marketing teams.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts and performance metrics; prepare regular business updates and report on incentive utilization.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in channel sales, partner management or business development within the technology, telecom or managed services sectors.
• Proven ability to build strong relationships with partner sales and technical teams and to drive joint business plans.
• Strong analytical skills to manage pipeline, forecast revenue and report on partner performance.
