Business Development Manager - Angola

About the role

Mamoru is expanding its financial technology services across Africa, and Angola is a strategic market. We are looking for a Business Development Manager to establish our local presence, build key partnerships, and drive growth in the FX trading segment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in setting up the local legal entity, opening bank, FX broker, exchange, and payment processor accounts.
• Act as the local representative, cultivating relationships with banks, brokers, exchanges, merchants, and payment processors.
• Develop and launch FX trading services targeting high‑net‑worth individuals, institutional investors, merchants, and retail traders.
• Stay informed on market trends, risks, and new opportunities within the FX payments industry.
• Serve as nominee director of the local entity and manage administrative tasks.

Required profile

• Prior experience in banking or FX with solid understanding of trading products and trade life‑cycle.
• National of Angola.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship‑management skills.
• Detail‑oriented, able to multitask and work independently.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
