Business Development Manager – Angola

About the role

Mamoru is expanding its financial services across Africa and seeks a Business Development Manager to lead the launch and growth of its operations in Angola. You will act as the local representative, establishing the entity, building key partnerships, and driving FX trading business.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in setting up the local entity, including opening bank, FX broker, exchange, and payment processor accounts.
• Collaborate with the global operations team to ensure smooth local operations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with banks, brokers, exchanges, merchants, and payment processors.
• Launch and grow FX trading services targeting high‑net‑worth, institutional, merchant, and individual clients.
• Monitor market trends, opportunities, risks, and new projects in the FX payments space.
• Serve as nominee director of the local entity.
• Handle administrative tasks for the local company.

Required profile

• Prior experience in banking or FX with solid understanding of trading products and trade life cycles.
• Must be a national of Angola.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship‑management abilities.
• Flexible mindset to adapt to a fast‑changing market and new tasks.
• Detail‑oriented, capable of multitasking and managing projects independently.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
