Business Development Manager - Angola

About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to lead the establishment and growth of our operations in Angola. The role will act as the local face of Mamoru, building relationships with financial institutions and driving the FX trading business across a range of client segments.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in setting up the local legal entity, including opening bank, FX broker, exchange, and payment processor accounts.
• Collaborate with the global operations team to ensure smooth local operations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with banks, brokers, exchanges, merchants and payment processors as the local representative.
• Launch and expand FX trading services targeting high‑net‑worth individuals, institutional investors, merchants and retail traders.
• Monitor market trends, opportunities, risks and new projects within the FX payments industry.
• Serve as nominee director of the Angolan entity.
• Handle administrative tasks for the local company.

Required profile

• Previous experience in banking or foreign‑exchange environments with solid understanding of trading products and trade life‑cycles.
• Must be a national of Angola.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship‑management abilities.
• Adaptable mindset to thrive in a fast‑changing market.
• Detail‑oriented, capable of multitasking and managing projects independently.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
