About the role
The Business Development Manager will drive revenue growth and market expansion for the Chemical Injection Utilities (CIU) product line in Angola. You will identify new opportunities, grow existing client revenue, and build strong relationships with customers and partners while supporting the regional execution of the global commercial strategy.
Key responsibilities
- Achieve annual revenue targets, KPIs and SMART objectives.
- Identify, qualify and secure new business opportunities across the sales cycle.
- Maintain a healthy pipeline coverage ratio and ensure accurate CRM updates.
- Support key account plans for strategic clients.
- Develop and nurture relationships with clients, distributors and channel partners.
- Prepare commercial proposals, bids and tenders, and contribute to pricing and negotiations.
- Identify new markets, applications and sector opportunities for CIU solutions.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences and trade shows.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Marketing and Commercial teams to align customer expectations with operational capability.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures and HSEQ requirements.
Required profile
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 10 years of professional experience, including 5 years in senior customer service, sales or business development roles within a multinational environment.
- Proven sales or business development experience in technical or industrial sectors.
- Strong commercial, negotiation and deal‑closing capabilities.
- Excellent communication, presentation and relationship‑building skills.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage complex pipelines.
Required skills
- Experience with CRM systems and pipeline management.
