Assembly, Maintenance & Overhaul Intern

About the role

Baker Hughes is offering a hands‑on internship focused on assembly, maintenance and overhaul activities within its global energy operations. The role is designed for students or recent graduates who want to apply engineering concepts to real‑world projects while gaining exposure to industry‑leading technology and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute internal projects that deliver customer outcomes and identify process improvements.
• Learn and use proprietary software tools to support project execution.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and fellow interns, networking with global business leaders.
• Apply Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) standards in all tasks to ensure compliance.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Engineering, Technology, Mechanics or another STEM discipline.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 (or equivalent).
• Fluent in spoken and written English with strong communication skills.
• Legal right to work in the country of assignment without sponsorship.
