Area Manager – Retail Expansion & Business Development

About the role

We are seeking an Area Manager to lead retail expansion, commercial growth, and operational excellence across two key markets for a fast‑growing beauty and luxury brand management company. The role combines strategic sales development, team leadership, and hands‑on operational oversight to drive market share and brand presence.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the General Manager and Brand Managers to design and execute high‑impact commercial activities.
• Identify and secure new retail partnerships, driving revenue growth.
• Analyse sales reports and market trends to provide data‑driven recommendations.
• Prepare and execute flawless new‑store opening decks and maintain premium POS standards.
• Lead in‑store implementation of marketing campaigns, promotions, and brand animations.
• Maintain strong relationships with key retail partners, supporting contracts and order follow‑ups.
• Supervise, mentor, and upskill a team of Retail Coordinators, setting KPIs and monitoring performance.
• Monitor regional inventory, manage orders, and resolve delivery discrepancies.
• Prepare comprehensive market performance reports, including pricing and competitor analysis.
• Handle administrative tasks such as minute‑taking during brand meetings and managing travel itineraries.

Required profile

• Proven experience in marketing or retail management, preferably within the beauty, cosmetics, or luxury goods sectors.
• Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding commercial sales targets.
• Practical experience in stock management and supply‑chain follow‑through.
• Strong analytical abilities to interpret sales data and market trends.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with retail partners.
