Accounting and Finance Technician

About the role

The Accounting and Finance Technician will support Shalina Angola's accounting and financial operations, ensuring accurate records, timely transaction processing, and compliance with Angolan accounting standards and tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Record and process accounting transactions accurately and promptly.
• Prepare and verify invoices, payment vouchers, receipts and supporting documents.
• Perform bank, supplier, customer and general ledger reconciliations.
• Support accounts payable and receivable activities and month‑end/year‑end closing.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Help with tax calculations, statutory reporting and internal/external audits.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Attention to detail, integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Analytical thinking with strong numerical aptitude.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet financial deadlines.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Experience with accounting software and ERP systems, including Primavera.
• Bank and general ledger reconciliation.
• Financial reporting and bookkeeping.
