Project Manager – Construction & Infrastructure

About the role

Mitrelli is seeking a seasoned Project Lead to oversee large‑scale construction and infrastructure projects across Africa. You will be responsible for strategic portfolio management, ensuring that complex engineering schedules are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain detailed engineering and construction schedules for multi‑million‑dollar projects.
• Monitor start‑up actions, track progress, and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Oversee budgeting, reporting, HSE, and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review contractor and supervision team activities, enforcing best‑practice methods.
• Identify, escalate, and mitigate risks and deviations promptly.
• Coordinate with bidding, contracting, PMO, and procurement teams to ensure seamless resource flow.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams, providing clear communication to all stakeholders.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
• Minimum 10 years of experience managing large construction projects, preferably from the contractor side.
• Proven track record in contract, financial, and change‑order management.
• Experience in building or infrastructure projects.
