Service Sales Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Service Sales Specialist to join Hitachi Energy’s Service Sales team. Working closely with the Service Sales Manager, you will drive sales of high‑voltage and transformer service portfolios, focusing on installed‑base penetration and promoting the full service product range.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare proposals, quotations and competitive bids with accurate technical and commercial considerations.
• Drive proactive and reactive sales for high‑voltage and transformer service portfolios.
• Evaluate client requirements, assess commercial terms and propose techno‑commercial solutions.
• Manage tendering process, pricing strategies and risk reviews in coordination with the Service Sales Manager.
• Maintain project pipeline, forecasts and documentation using Hitachi Energy tools.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, respond promptly to issues and act as the voice of the customer internally.
• Identify new market opportunities and develop strategic sales plans.
• Support marketing activities, product launches and customer meetings.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations, HSE and quality standards.
• Demonstrate leadership, teamwork and a disciplined approach to deliver accurate results.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5–10 years of experience in service sales, estimation, bids and strong customer‑relationship management.
• Proven understanding of Hitachi Energy systems and products, preferably within the energy sector.
• Strong commercial, technical and negotiation abilities.
• Strategic, result‑oriented mindset with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel across assigned countries as needed.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Portuguese.
