Project Manager – Payments Solutions

About the role

AfricaPay International Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the launch and implementation of card payment products in Angola. This role offers the chance to work on pioneering payment solutions within a collaborative, forward‑thinking environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with processors and key stakeholders to implement client‑approved products.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and interdependencies.
• Monitor progress, identify obstacles, and escalate issues as needed.
• Coordinate across internal teams, clients, and third‑party vendors to ensure critical deliverables are met.
• Assist clients in setting up processes and systems for card business operations.
• Provide training on payments, reconciliation, settlement, billing, chargebacks and related functions.
• Oversee end‑to‑end project execution, ensuring delivery on schedule, within budget and scope.
• Prepare and present status updates and reports to senior management.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management within the card payments industry.
• Proven ability to manage and implement payments projects.
• Strong understanding of the payments ecosystem and related operational processes.
• Fluent Chinese speaking is mandatory.
• Ability to work remotely when required.
