Business Development Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to lead growth, brand visibility, and communication for our catering and ship‑supply activities across Angola. Reporting to the General Manager and matrix‑reporting to the Group Business Development Manager, you will drive new business opportunities and ensure contractual compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update a daily market map with media, competition, and sector information, and present opportunities to senior management.
• Develop and submit business proposals and tender responses, covering technical, financial, legal, and staffing aspects.
• Secure contracts, agreements, or letters of agreement before any operation begins.
• Act as the communication hub between clients and the operations department, handling issue reporting and solution implementation.
• Coordinate client visits, audits, and produce written reports for the General Manager.
• Manage payment follow‑up with client finance contacts to ensure timely invoicing.
• Maintain tender documentation (due diligence, certifications, authority records).
• Support brand visibility through monthly site communications, news updates, and quarterly brand audits.

Required profile

• Fluent English (mandatory); Portuguese or French is a plus.
• Proven experience in business development management, preferably in catering, offshore, or ship‑supply sectors.
• Available to start immediately.
