About the role
The Mission Support Supervisor provides multi‑function services that enable the Church’s mission in Angola to help individuals come to Jesus Christ. Based in the Luanda North Mission, the role ensures that missionary facilities, housing, and related services operate smoothly and meet the needs of mission members.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate directly with the mission president to address missionary facility requirements.
- Negotiate and renew apartment leases, oversee vendor work, and verify compliance with specifications.
- Conduct bi‑annual formal maintenance inspections of missionary apartments.
- Manage mission drivers and home attendants.
- Scope and supervise building renovation projects as needed.
- Anticipate upcoming mission needs and lead moderately complex projects.
- Perform duties of direct reports when required and handle any additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Required profile
- Current and valid temple recommend (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Bachelor’s degree or National Diploma in a relevant field, with applicable industry‑recognized certifications.
- At least five years of combined related experience, higher‑education, or progress toward an industry certification.
- Previous leadership experience in a work setting.
