Medical Representative – Hospitals

About the role

The Medical Representative – Hospitals will drive institutional sales for a leading multinational pharmaceutical company in Angola. You will build and maintain relationships with hospital purchasing, pharmacy, and administration teams to ensure product availability and meet revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with hospital purchase, pharmacy, and admin teams.
• Generate orders through rate contracts, indents, and repeat institutional requirements.
• Ensure regular product availability at the hospital level.
• Coordinate with government hospitals for routine requirements and tender support.
• Handle empanelment processes and support tender documentation.
• Execute orders, follow up on dispatch, delivery, and pending supplies.
• Coordinate payment collection with hospital accounts and head‑office finance.
• Maintain product knowledge, pricing discipline, and communicate approved offers.
• Maintain accurate records, submit sales reports, and update CRM/ERP systems.
• Track competitor pricing, hospital buying patterns, and share market insights.

Required profile

• Experience in pharma or healthcare institutional sales, preferably with injectables or hospital products.
• Familiarity with hospital purchase cycles and procurement processes.
• Willingness to learn Portuguese within three months.
• Already residing in Angola or ready to relocate.
• Flexible, problem‑solving orientation with strong time‑management and analytical skills.
