Subsea Field Operator – Offshore Operations

About the role

Expro is seeking experienced Angolan professionals to join its Subsea Team in Angola as Subsea Field Operators. You will be responsible for preparing and running offshore equipment, ensuring safe and successful execution of operations in line with company procedures and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out offshore operations with the team, ensuring safety and preventing technical issues.
• Perform equipment checks to verify compliance with Expro policies, standards and procedures.
• Participate in toolbox talks, planning meetings and on‑shore preparation/return of equipment.
• Liaise professionally with client representatives and offshore supervisors.
• Complete required documentation for company and client processes.
• Share knowledge with subordinates and support competency development.

Required profile

• Formal technical qualification (degree, diploma or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Subsea technical field.
• Demonstrated Subsea technical competency.

Required skills

• Subsea equipment operation.
• Compliance checking against company standards.
• Documentation and reporting of offshore activities.
