Senior Service Engineer

About the role

Yokogawa is seeking a Senior Service Engineer to provide 24/7 support for system contracts, execute service projects, and deliver technical assistance on industrial automation solutions. The role combines field service, fault diagnosis, and customer liaison to ensure reliable operation of Distributed Control Systems and related IT solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain 24/7 coverage for System Support Contracts within the assigned region.
• Execute service projects, upgrades, migrations, and implementation of EXA packages.
• Perform fault finding, testing, minor repairs, and schedule service notes for Systems and PCI.
• Assist the Sales Team with technically sound proposals, tender documents, and bid submissions.
• Provide system training and ensure familiarity with the latest Distributed Control System versions.
• Report monthly to the Senior Manager, TSD, and support engineering colleagues as needed.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and third‑party contacts.

Required profile

• Proven experience in industrial service engineering, preferably in automation or control systems.
• Strong analytical skills for fault diagnosis and problem solving.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with sales and engineering teams.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and documentation.

Required skills

• Distributed Control Systems (DCS) operation and maintenance.
• PCI hardware and related IT solutions.
• Service project management, including upgrades and migrations.
