Finance Transformation PMO Lead – Senior Manager

About the role

The Finance Transformation PMO Lead drives governance, planning and execution oversight for the organisation's finance transformation portfolio. Working closely with finance leadership and cross‑functional partners, the role ensures strategic initiatives such as process automation, e‑invoicing, system enhancements and reporting transformation are delivered on time and within scope.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of finance transformation projects, coordinating activities across Finance, IT, Operations and external vendors.
• Establish and maintain PMO governance frameworks, standards and methodologies.
• Monitor project performance against budgets, milestones and KPIs, providing executive‑level reporting.
• Identify and mitigate risks, issues and dependencies, facilitating steering committee meetings and stakeholder workshops.
• Support project teams through planning, testing, implementation and post‑go‑live phases.
• Drive alignment between business requirements and delivered solutions, including finance systems, reporting tools and automation solutions.
• Promote best practices in project management, governance and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading finance transformation or large‑scale PMO initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities for executive audiences.
• Track record of delivering projects on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards.

Required skills

• Knowledge of finance transformation methodologies and reporting platforms.
